Terms
Draft for review. These terms are a draft. They may still change before they take effect, and this notice comes off the day they do.
The agreement between you and Elixir Games: what you can expect from us when you play, trade, launch or publish a game here, what we ask of you, and what we cannot promise.

This agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and the company that operates elixir.games, called "we" here. Using Elixir Games means you accept them.
That covers everything the site lets you do: playing, signing in, trading game tokens, claiming airdrops, launching a token and publishing a game. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the site.
Two pages sit beside them: our content & takedown policy, on what we remove and how to report a game, and our privacy page, on what this site keeps about you.
A test version
This is a test version. It runs on Solana's test network with test money that has no real value. Seasons, scores and airdrops here are rehearsals.
Every token on this version, ELIX included, is a test token with no real value, and nothing here is bought or paid for with real money.
Before real money is involved anywhere on this site, we will say so on the site and change these terms first.
Playing and scores
Playing is free. You can play as a guest, and sign in with a Solana wallet when you want your progress tied to it or an airdrop paid to it.
Each season's rules — what counts towards a rank, how a run is checked and what a rank can be paid — are on How scoring works. They are part of these terms, and the scoring dials there never change in the middle of a season.
A run counts only if our checks accept it, and a run that was not played the way the game was made to be played does not count. We can also take a wallet off a season's boards for cheating. A person decides that, and it can be undone if it was wrong.
As a guest, your progress belongs to a guest identity kept in your browser, and your guest code is its key. Keep the code to yourself.
Game tokens
A game token gives you no share of the game, of its creator or of us, and nothing here promises that a token will be worth anything.
Each game launches as its own token on a bonding curve, which holds the money it raises: buyers can sell back into it. When the curve fills, the game graduates to a permanent pool whose liquidity is locked forever.
Prices come from the curve's program and from the trades people make, not from a decision of ours. A token's price can fall as well as rise, all the way to nothing.
Every trade pays a fee. The trade panel shows a trade's fee on its quote, before you sign, and How scoring works shows who the fee goes to.
You trade from your own wallet, and we never see its keys. A trade you have signed is final once Solana confirms it: we cannot reverse, refund or cancel it.
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Decide for yourself, and only ever trade what you can afford to lose.
Airdrops
You can earn a share of a game's airdrop by playing it, paid only once that game's token graduates. A game still on its curve, or with no token, pays none.
Whether a share comes to anything depends on your rank on that game's board, the per-wallet cap, and having a wallet to pay it to. How scoring works sets out each of them, and the two ways a ranked player is paid nothing.
An airdrop is paid in that game's own token, which can be worth nothing. It vests: part can be claimed when the airdrop opens and the rest is released daily after that, and you claim it yourself.
Claim in time. What is still unclaimed after the claim window on How scoring works can be recovered from the airdrop, and what is recovered can no longer be claimed.
The Season Score on the Arena pays nothing: airdrops are paid game by game, from each game’s own board, where the game has one.
Launching a token
Anyone can launch a token for a game on Elixir Games without asking us. We never review or authorise a token launch.
You launch from your own wallet. The launch terms — the supply, how it is split, the fees and the vesting — are shown before you sign and fixed on chain once the launch lands: after that nobody can change them, us included.
If Elixir Games announced a game, its page, the shelves and search show a token for it only once the game's rights holder authorises that token. A launch still goes ahead without it; the token is simply not shown.
Nobody else may launch under our own names and symbols. A launch that takes someone else's name, art or trademark can be reported under our content & takedown policy.
We do promote games, with a featured shelf and an editor's pick. Promotion is never sold, and it is never permission to launch.
Your game
A game you make stays yours.
In Season 1 we publish games with their creators, and every game is reviewed before it enters our store. That review is about the game alone: it is not an age rating, and we never review or authorise the launch of its token.
By publishing a game here you give us a free licence to host it, let people play it, and show its name, art and clips to promote it, on this site and off it, for as long as it is on the store. The licence does not stop you publishing the game anywhere else.
You confirm that you have the right to publish everything in it — its code, art, sound and name — and that it carries nothing harmful. If it is meant for adults, flag it so: players then see a warning before it loads.
Taking a game down
We can remove a game from our store on the grounds below, in the way our content & takedown policy sets out.
Binding text (Spanish)
Podemos retirar o suspender un juego de la tienda cuando sea necesario para cumplir la normativa, proteger a los usuarios o la plataforma, o por acuerdo con el titular. Si hay un contrato específico, se aplicará lo pactado.
English translation
We may remove or suspend a game from the store when necessary to comply with regulations, to protect users or the platform, or by agreement with the rights holder. If there is a specific contract, the terms agreed in it will apply.
Removing a game does not close its token's market. The token, its curve or pool and everyone holding it are on Solana, and trades made there are outside our control.
Fair use
Play fair, and leave the site, its games and other players alone.
- No bots, scripts or tampered games to score, and no playing on several wallets or guest identities to take more than one player's share.
- No attacks on the site, its games or its servers, and no trying to reach what is not yours.
- No using the site to break the law, to deceive anyone, or to move a token's price with trades made to mislead.
- Use the site only where doing so is lawful for you.
- If you break these rules, we can refuse your runs, take your wallet off a season's boards, stop serving you, and remove what you published under our content & takedown policy.
Games on other engines
Some games here run on Unity, a game engine made by another company.

Some Elixir Games games use the Unity engine. Unity Technologies and its affiliates are not answerable to you for those games and benefit from the same warranty exclusions and limitations of liability that these terms set out for Elixir Games.
No warranty
We provide the site and its games as they are, and as they are available.
Games are made by their creators, many of them with AI, and some are open-source games we adapted, whose pages credit the people and licences behind them. We review a game before it enters our store, but we cannot promise that any game, score or payout is free of errors.
We do not promise that the site, a game or a feature will be there at every moment, or kept forever. We can change, pause or end any part of the site, a game included.
The site relies on services we do not run — Solana, the Meteora programs that run each curve and pool, Streamflow, which runs airdrop claims, and your wallet app — and we are not responsible for how they work or when they fail.
Limits of our liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site, its games or its tokens.
That includes a token's price falling, a trade or a launch you made, a bug, an outage or an attack, a game being removed, a run that did not count, and anything that happens on Solana or in your wallet.
Nothing in these terms limits a liability the law does not let us limit — for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, for example — or takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
We can change these terms. The date at the top of this page says when they last changed.
When a change matters to you, we will say so on the site before it takes effect, unless the law or a security problem needs it sooner.
If you keep using the site after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.
